Penganugerahan musik BRIT Awards 2022 baru aja digelar di O2 Opera di London, Inggris, pada 8 Februari 2022 waktu setempat. Penyanyi Adele mendominasi dengan meraih tiga piala sekaligus di BRIT Awards 2022.
Acara BRIT Awards 2022 dipandu oleh Mo Gilligan untuk pertama kalinya. Terdapat empat kategori baru di BRIT Awards 2022 yakni Alternative/Rock Act, Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Dance Act and Pop/R’N’B Act, yang mana bisa divoting oleh para fans melalui aplikasi TikTok.
Selain itu, berbeda dengan tahun sebelumnya, di BRIT Awards 2022 kali ini menghapus kategori gender. Hal ini membuat British Male Solo Artist dan British Female Solo Artist digabungkan menjadi British Artist of the Year.
Adele sukses mendominasi penganugerahan musik BRIT Awards 2022 dengan membawa pulang tiga pila sekaligus. Adele memenangkan pila untuk kategori Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year dan Artist of the Year.
Adele pun juga turut tampil di panggung BRIT Awards 2022 dengan menyanyikan lagu-lagu hitsnya. Selain Adele, beberapa musisi lainnya juga ikut tampil seperti Sam Fender, Ed Sheeran, Liam Gallagher, Dave, Holly Humberstone dan Little Simz.
